Who's down with OCT?! Ya, you know me! The Oregon Coast Trail (aka OCT) runs along the entirety of, you guessed it, the state of Oregon. I've backpacked most of the northern section, I and can painfully recall the wet and the mud (I didn't even know there could be so much wet and mud). But even more memorable? The ocean mere steps away for miles, hundreds of salamanders in the forest, coffee in Cannon Beach, wind so loud you have to yell to the person next to you, sand exfoliating everywhere, talking to everyone we passed, and loving every minute of it all. 363 miles of beach walking, road walking, mud walking...trust me, your hips and your heart are gonna love this one.
